Before attending firefighter or EMT training, you must be a member of a volunteer fire/rescue station and meet prequiste requirements and training. Contact and join a volunteer station early.

Would you like to belong to a group of enthusiastic people committed and willing to take on the challenge of saving a life?

You can make a difference. We are actively recruiting volunteers for all fire and rescue stations throughout Loudoun County, Virginia. We provide all necessary training at no cost to you.

Training Division Now Offering Hybrid Classes

The LC-CFRS training division is now offering some classes in a hybrid format. This allows the students to study on their own time and time spent at the training center is hands on with the instructors, reinforcing the online material.

Family Day

On Sunday November 22, 2015 the Fall EMT-Basic class hosted their friends and family at The Oliver Robert Dubé Fire and Rescue Training Academy. This allowed a chance for the family and friends of the students to see everything our volunteers have been learning over the past 4 months.

Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services Symposium, November 11, 2015

May of our system members had the opportunity to travel to Norfolk, VA to attend the 36th Annual Virginia EMS Symposium. Members attended classes covering many different topics taught by instructors from all over the Country.
